Miss Regina Appah
Practice Co-Owner & Dentist

Regina Appah qualified in Cardiff in 2000 and following vocational training, worked in various hospital jobs before eventually working in general practice.
In my spare time Regina likes cooking and baking cakes, and spending time with her beautiful little girl.
Miss Angharad Hunt
Dentist

Angharad Hunt is the newest member to the team qualifying in 2016. Angharad continues her professional development with the practice and relishes the opportunity to develop with the field of dentistry.
She enjoys keeping active in her spare time which involves going running with her club and climbing. Angharad also loves making things, including knitting.
Miss Sioned James

Sioned qualified in Cardiff 2015, she started working with us in November 2022, Sioned has a wide variety of experience, she works within the prison environment and the Emergency Dental Services.
Miss Emily Heggie

My name is Emily and I have worked within the dental industry since 2016 and qualified as a dental hygienist from Cardiff university in 2022. I’m very excited to meet all the patients at Castle Street Dental Practice and to help educate everyone in all things oral health.
Having 2 young children and a dog spare time is a thing of the past but I wouldn’t have it any other way, I love spending time with my family, going on holidays and making memories. I also enjoy going on long walks and baking with my daughter.

I started working within Dentistry in 1998, qualified as a Dental Nurse in the year 2000. I joined Castle Street Dental Practice in October 2022 as the Practice Assistant Manageress.
I have 2 sons who both play rugby which takes up most of our family time. I enjoy watching them both play.

My name is Rhian Lloyd and I’m a qualified dental nurse. I love my job and I’ve been doing it for 4 years now. I enjoy visiting new cities and going to gigs in my spare time
Linda Williams

Linda is a qualified dental nurse with over 35 years of experience to bring to the practice.
In her spare time Linda likes reading, swimming and making greeting cards for friends and family.
Amanda Jones
Dental Nurse

Amanda joined our practice in April 2013 with Deborah as a receptionist. She has now become fully qualified dental nurse, but also still works on reception when required.
Amanda’s interests include spending time with her friends and family and being outdoors walking with her dog.
Clare Jones

Clare is a qualified dental nurse who has joined our practice in August 2011 and brings a wealth of knowledge to our team.
Her interests include socialising with friends, cooking food and running. Clare is a keen member of a running club in Tredegar.
Joline Herbert
Receptionist
Joline is our full time receptionist. She has a vast knowledge in this field as she previously worked as a dental nurse for many years.
She enjoys playing bingo and watching movies at the cinema, but prefers a good game of darts with her partner and daughter. Any spare time left she likes to spend relaxing on the sofa watching TV.
Jessica Taylor
Trainee Dental Nurse
Jessica started in Castle Street Dental Practice in August 2022. After travelling for 3 years, Jessica has come back to continue her career in dental health.
In her spare time she enjoys making memories with her little boy, spending time with friends and shopping.

Mr Ali Jahanfar
Former Practice Co-Owner
Ali Jahanfar sadly passed away in the summer of 2025. Ali was a pillar of the community in Tredegar for decades and will be missed.
Ali qualified in dentistry in Gothenburg Sweden in 1996 and started working in Bargoed, Wales. He also worked as Clinical Lead for HIW (Healthcare Inspectorate of Wales).
